Lady Kimi descends from an aristocratic Yakai family. Following the Mikage Autocracy's fall, she fought in the rebellion expecting her lands to be restored. However, pragmatic victors pardoned lesser Mikage bureaucrats to maintain stability, refusing to return her estates. Convinced the new regime murdered dissenting allies, she established herself in borderlands near Mistwood to foment resistance. Sylvan Fae offered magical aid in exchange for her left eye, her second-born child, and advancing their influence. She accepted, gaining youth, vitality, and magical horns, becoming their agent to spread Fae influence beyond the Dawnlands.
